A postdoctoral position is available with Ryan R. Cheng at the University of Kentucky in the Department of Chemistry. Research projects will focus on the spatial organization of the genome and how that organization is modulated by cytoskeletal forces. These projects will involve the utilization of existing computational tools within the Cheng research group as well as the development of new tools. The position is initially for one year at an annual rate of $47,476 (US) plus benefits and can be extended upon mutual agreement and availability of funding.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. in chemistry, physics, computational biology, or a related field, with experience in molecular dynamics/coarse-grained simulations. Experience with Python is helpful but not required.
