The successful candidate will use existing databases and models to advance our understanding of agroecosystem carbon, nitrogen, and water dynamics. In addition, the candidate will work with other personnel to collect key field data that are important for model validation and calibration. We have particular focus on predicting how interactions between environment and management affect greenhouse gas emissions and we seek to develop new management strategies that minimize trade-offs between productivity and environmental performance.

Experience in ecosystem ecology
Experience working with ecosystem models such as  APSIM, DAYCENT, or DNDC.
