Reporting to the Manager of Agronomy Research Farm, the Farm Coordinator 3 participates and assists in providing collaborative professional services to support CFAES faculty and technical staff in the implementation of agricultural field research to meet experimental objectives, primarily agronomic crops (corn, soybeans, small grains and forages). This position works directly with investigators and staff to implement projects following research procedures. Assists with instruction of student and seasonal employees on field operations to carry out crop research. Lays out field plots, performs tillage, planting, installs and manages irrigation systems, harvests and performs other agricultural operations according to the project protocols.
