Postdoctoral Research Associate in Soil Science
The postdoctoral researcher will conduct multi-location field studies of soil management practices including cover crops, conservation tillage, and biochar. The person in this position will be involved in heavy seasonal field work to manage the experiments and collect field data across distant sites in Nebraska. The incumbent should have the ability to work independently as well as with team members. He/she will focus on the study of soil physical processes, water use efficiency, water quality, carbon and nutrient cycling, and other soil services. Previous work experience in the above topics is highly preferred. He/she will be required to publish research results in high quality journals, develop comprehensive review articles, and prepare nationally competitive grant proposals. The post
