Position Overview This position focuses on adoption of cost-effective cropping systems to improve soil organic matter, soil microbiome, carbon sequestration and tillage practices through adoption of cropping system practices that include advance fertility management, changes in tillage practices, cover crops, conservation farming and other innovations that reduce nutrient and sediment loss and improve soil health and ecosystem services.   You will work collaboratively with work team members, MSU service units, allied industry and farmers, agriculture and conservation societies and organizations, and state and federal governmental agencies to design, implement, deliver, and evaluate educational programming to meet high priority needs of clientele.
