Graduate Student Research Assistantship and Postdoctoral Position Available at Dr. Valtcho D. Jeliazkov's Lab at Oregon State University
Oregon State University's Dr. Valtcho D. Jeliazkov's lab is currently seeking candidates for both a Graduate Student Research Assistantship (GRE) and a Postdoctoral position.
The selected Graduate Student and Postdoctoral Scholar will play a pivotal role in advancing a research project titled, "Discovery of Natural Products as Sprout Inhibitors for Organic Potato and Development of Methods for Their Application." Key research activities include:
Setting up studies in controlled environments
Developing microencapsulation techniques for essential oils
Testing the efficacy of microencapsulated essential oils as sprout inhibitors
Assessing the impact of essential oils on potato tuber chemistry
